Compliance

Last Updated: 7/16/2026Version 1

This Compliance page explains how Advance Track System (Pvt) Ltd ("we", "us", "the Company") designs and operates its GPS tracking platform, customer portal, and mobile applications in line with app-store requirements, privacy and data-protection principles, and the laws of Pakistan. It applies to our apps published on Google Play and the Apple App Store and to the Traccar-based tracking service behind them. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy, Data Protection Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Security Policy.

1. Our Compliance Commitment

We are committed to operating a lawful, transparent, and trustworthy tracking service for our customers, which include individuals, businesses, enterprises, and government organisations. We build our products to meet the published requirements of the platforms we distribute through, to follow recognised privacy and security practices, and to comply with applicable Pakistani law. Compliance is treated as an ongoing responsibility, reviewed as our services and the relevant rules evolve.

2. Google Play Developer Policy Alignment

Our Android application is designed to align with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, including their requirements for location and personal data. Specifically:

  • Purpose limitation — location data is collected and used only to provide the GPS tracking service that the user signed up for, such as live tracking, trip history, alerts, geofencing, fuel and driver monitoring, and reports.
  • Prominent disclosure and consent — we disclose what location and personal data we access and why, and we obtain consent where required, before any collection begins.
  • No unrelated use — we do not use location data for advertising or for purposes unrelated to the tracking service.
  • Accurate listing — our store listing and data-safety information describe our data practices truthfully.

3. Apple App Store Review Guidelines Alignment

Our iOS application is designed to align with the Apple App Store Review Guidelines and Apple's privacy requirements. We request only the permissions the service needs, provide clear in-app purpose strings that explain how location, camera, and notification access are used, and use collected data solely to deliver and improve the tracking service the user has chosen. Our App Store privacy information is kept consistent with our actual data practices, and we honour the permission decisions users make through their device settings.

4. No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell customer or end-user personal data, and we do not trade location data. We share data only as necessary to operate the service — for example with infrastructure, mapping, and messaging providers acting on our instructions — or where we are legally required to do so. Any such providers are expected to handle data securely and only for the agreed purpose, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Privacy Best Practices & Data-Protection Principles

Privacy is built into how we design and operate our services. We follow widely recognised data-protection principles in the way we handle personal and location data:

  • Lawfulness, fairness, and transparency — we explain what we collect and why.
  • Purpose limitation — data is used for the tracking service and closely related purposes.
  • Data minimisation — we collect only what is needed to deliver the service.
  • Accuracy and retention — we keep data accurate and retain it only as long as necessary, in line with our Data Retention Policy.
  • Security and accountability — we protect data using the measures set out in our Security Policy and maintain records to demonstrate compliance.

6. Lawful Use Requirement

Our service must be used lawfully. Customers may only track vehicles, assets, or persons that they own or are otherwise authorised to track. Where employees, drivers, or other individuals are tracked, obtaining any legally required notice or consent from those individuals is the customer's responsibility, not ours. By using our service, customers confirm that they have the necessary authority and consents in place and that their use complies with all applicable laws. We do not support covert or unlawful tracking of individuals.

7. Anti-Misuse Stance

We prohibit the use of our platform for unlawful surveillance, stalking, harassment, or any tracking of a person without lawful authority or required consent. We also prohibit attempts to interfere with the platform, to access data belonging to others, or to use the service in a way that violates the rights of any person. Where we become aware of credible reports of misuse, we may suspend or terminate access and take further action as described in our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms & Conditions.

8. Pakistani Regulatory Context

We are a private limited company established and operating in Pakistan. Our corporate registration and tax-registration records are maintained on file and are available to competent authorities as required. We operate our tracking, connectivity, and communications services in accordance with applicable Pakistani laws and regulations, and we monitor relevant regulatory developments that affect our services.

9. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

We respect the rule of law and cooperate with law-enforcement agencies and other competent authorities when we receive a lawful request — such as a valid court order, warrant, or other legally recognised demand. We assess each request for validity and scope, disclose only the data that is lawfully required, and keep records of such requests where appropriate. We do not disclose customer data in response to informal or unauthorised requests.

10. Ongoing Compliance and Reporting Concerns

Compliance is an ongoing effort: we review our policies, security measures, and app-store practices periodically, and we update them as regulations, platform guidelines, and best practices evolve. If you believe our service is being misused, or you have a question or concern about our compliance practices, please contact us using the details below. We take such reports seriously and will review them in line with this page and our related policies.
